On November 10, 2008 the MoU was signed between the UNDP Armenia, Ministry of Justice and the ICRC on the establishment of the new Narcological Department. The UNDP has announced the tender for supplying the construction materials by breaking them down into 5 lots.

Total amount of the supplied construction materials is US$46,357. The MoJ started the construction works immediately and it is expected that the works will be completed by May 2009.
